    Post Stanhopea anfracta in bloom

    That Stanhopea blooms at first time for me.
    I've had it for two years now. It has very strong
    orange perfume. Unfortunately, the beautiful flowers
    last only a few days. It was worth the waiting though.

    Gorgeous!!! Most of the Stanhopeas that I have grown were very rewarding. I had expected them to be difficult to grow but once established, they really take off!

    The short flower life is a definite drawback. Would love to have been able to smell it though!

    All of my Stanhopeas are in sphag moss and in plastic net baskets.
