My friend and I keep going back and forth about the kind of person who would dig up a tree. Since it involved so much work we doubt it was teenagers. We either think that it was someone who wanted it for their yard or a landscaper who had a client who wanted a tree like hers. Maybe he was saving some money? A police report was filed but the person is still on the loose. It all depends on if it is is spotted somewhere in someone's yard.
I thought about wiring the vanda to the tree in the basket but I fear that would make it very difficult to get down if I need to. If I put it pretty high I might have a hard time caring for it .
