OK, so I ordered a bunch of these 2" seedlings for resale. Little did I realize they were mature plants!
Here's a closeup of the flower and another shot with a quarter, for scale.

In nature especially in Northern part of Peninsular Malaysia this plant growing like a weeds in certain tree , this species is well camouflage difficult to spot until you see one, here most of the petals is plain color, lovely clone Ray.
very cute,.. i think this is harvey's kinda thing,...
Lovely mini phal.
What a little beauty.
Very interesting, Zainal. I have never seen this in the wild here - maybe I wasn't observant enough or just don't know which type tree to look out for. When searching for Rhy retusa we always look for the 'Bongor' tree (Lagerstroema) . Can you tell me which tree this Phal likes ?
I think the nearest you can go is Bukit Kayu Hijau border between Kedah and Perak after you enter the "water fall" if you go further up they will be very huge tree with the diameter about" Kancil" car under this tree they were plants with the leaves very small diameter with the length about 3 to 4 inches X 1 to 1 1/2 inches. The land mark which I can remembered after you parked your car you need to walk about 100 meter than" CROSS THE BRIDGE " about 10 to 15 meter further up just watch up this tree. Here also you can found very beautiful Bulb paten rich in red color hanging on the big tree.
How cute! Minis are next on my list.
It's so cute!
