I received this orchid just yesterday, and it arrived very healthy, just as my gongora armeniaca... Plants traveled for 5 days, weather was OK, it wasn't very hot, on contrary, it was rainy and temperature was mild. When I took the plants from the box, both plants were very dry, so I soaked them immediately. I inspected both plants today, and noticed this strange blotches, a few wilted leaves, accompanied with yellowness, and 2 leaves fell off... I understand masdevallia culture, so I put iz in shade, misted it at least 20x a day, and put it on my terrace, with others, where it is breezy, and very near a water source, where we keep a hose, for watering a garden... That is the coolest part of the garden, and due to the proximity of the water, it is humid and definitely cooler, with excellent air movement. The conditions are probably OK, so I suspect it is probably transport shock, and dehydration... please, if you know how to stop this, reply as soon as you can! Thank you all!!!
by the way, gongora is doing great! it is only masdevallia, that concerns me... also, all other orchids are doing great there, even miltoniopsis, that is quite a picky plant!
