I bought this Coelogyne fimbriata in March. It is a very slow grower. The only things I can see that have grown since I have had it is the 2 spikes (probably set up by the seller) and the roots on each of the pseudo bulbs which are mostly out in the air, out of the pot. They all have nice green tips on them now. The roots were not actively growing when it arrived.
Each spike looks like it will grow 2 flowers each. In the 3rd image, you can see the second spike starting to show the color of the flower and the beginnings of opening. Based on the first flowers time frame to open, I'd say 2-3 days for the 2nd spike's flower to open.
It does have a nice delicate scent. Can't place it to describe though.
I will re-post pics in full bloom. These are said to be long lasting blooms.

but i would think, out of any mount you choose (cork, tree fern, or plain wood) Id say tree fern square. But you must think if you hang it vertically, that it might still grow horizontally. I know my Bulbophyllum did this....and i had to lay the mount on it side, like a tree branch, horizontally.
