Hi
I have 2 vandas with bare roots, roots are very long.Should I fold it with coconut hask or potted in a wooden basket?
your question depends upon where and how you are growing it
love your quote. You speak the truth
I live in Cebu-Philippines and have about 90 vandas all bare rooted hanging in the air with about 30 of these placed on large logs as well--none of mine are or ever have been potted--all are growing and flowering well. Always hot or very hot and humid like today here. 2 examples![]()

It depends on humidity. You can grow bare root if the humidity is very high. if the humidity is low then you can grow them in pots. The location I live has low humidity <20% for two months and rest of the year it is >50% so I have both in pots and bare root. bare root would have to water them daily or more and potted one possibly once in 2 days
I have some of mine potted in large chunk red bark and lava rock, others are growing bare root. Most have Spanish moss growing around the roots.
cheers,
