This is the Tolumnia that I picked up at the April Cherry City Orchid Show. The plant had seven flowers open and 8 buds. The buds are all open now. The blooms are one inch wide.

Nice photo. I have a Pink Panther and a few others. They came in tiny clay pots with hanging wires. It works out well since it is easy to water them, I just dunk them in a pail of water then hang them back up to dry out quickly. They have bloomed continuously although the Pink Panther finally decided to take a break. I like Tolumnias.
Cute! I like Tolumnia but they don't like me too much.
That's really pretty, Doreen!

Wow. Pretty
Thank you all for the responses. This plant also came in a clay pot full of roots and no potting medium! I have had tolumnia in the past, but they did not survive. I think I over-watered them in the past, I'll be more careful of this one.
I've seen several different watering recommendations. One vendor said to water and fertilize every day. Others say to limit watering. I have been dunking mine almost every day, usually every other day. So far in the nine months I have had them, they have grown tremendously, put out new growth and held their blossoms much longer than I expected. I'm sticking with the frequent watering but making sure it is in the morning and that they dry out fast. There is a small fan pointed in their direction all day.
I water during the growing season daily, thunderstorm like watering. Then during the rest of the year, I water less often.
Mine seem to have a non-stop growing season unless they are planning to slow down for the summer.
