The photo of these blooms is a bit faded. The green is a bit brighter and the red is darker. The blooms are 2 1/4 inches wide and 3 inches tall. This is the easiest of all paphs. to grow and bloom.

I find it a reliable bloomer too. I expect more fans to spike in the near future on mine. One bud is close to opening now as well.

I have some Paph's that sit near an east facing window that have grown well and generated spikes on a number of different Paph's. But in my semi-arid environment, I get more reliable blooming from the artificial lighting. I think because I can control the duration of light each day. I have not put any Paph's outside during the summer yet. Maybe next summer a couple will get the chance.

What duration of light gets them to bloom?

They get the same light duration as the rest of my collection. I light up for 16 hrs during the summer. Down to 14 hrs during the winter. Temps in the house are generally 5 F cooler (both day and night) than during the summer.
