Good point Karin.
When I say that it needs water I mean drenching every day. I also read that S. cernua likes to grow on wet cliff walls. I am thinking of taking a piece of this plant or buying another clone and try it mounted on a stone or terracotta surface.
Misting is something I do for the humidity and I mist surfaces around the plants also. I also mist Vanda/Aerides roots first before I water them because they tend to absorb water better then.
