There are several hybrids as well as species like this, e.g.Elizabeth, and the clone "Bucklebury" FCC/RHSi is particularly fine, but i have never seen anything like this colour - usually a dark red with hint of blue.

Thanks Geoff, very close to the same color it bloomed the first time if I remember correctly, maybe a little darker the first time but not by much.
