I've never looked up the specie... But they are small, very very dark brown, almost black. You find them out in the brushy areas of the hills.

Actually, this is just the kinda thing that I need for my Pest assignment at school... i need to get 20 different bugs, freeze em, then impale them.. how cool would something like that be to show off!

of course, seeing as I am actually afraid of that one... it would prolly just chase me of!

Oh come on, Tim ... considering how many truly dangerous critters live in your neck of the woods, you surely can't be scared of this little fella!?

If it is any consulation, Di, as the affects of assasin bug venom are different than bee venom, you likely would not have the same reaction.
