This was the NOID Den that I rescued out of the trash when my neightbor moved. I think that it is thanking me for it's survival. It reminds me of Sweet Peas.

Lovely save. It's amazing what people throw out, isn't it?
Very nice save! I am all for it.
Cheers. Hoa.
What a wonderful way to give thanks!
Well, I have to admit that I threw out a Bllra that was just not doing anything and seemed to be dying. So out on the compost pile it went about 6 weeks ago. Went out last week to add another item to the pile and found a 12" spike on the Bllra. Maybe the threat of death DOES work!
Hope you took a picture.

That looks just like my first dendrobium. It was tall, over 36 inches, to tip of spike. Well, one day I heard a crash and it had fallen off the table. Broke its little neck (spike that is). I wanted to cry but was thankful it had not broken more. I put the spike in a bud vase and it lasted over 1 month before the blooms fell. It was in bloom for a month before it fell, so it is a hardy little devil. Enjoy your find.
It looks like a Dend. phalenopsis, Cin, but I wouldn't trust my guess as a positive ID.

Beautiful flower. Good job saving the plant.
