So, tonight I am in Alexandria, Louisiana. I will be here until Sunday. I am on a recruiting trip. I hope to get out of the conference hotel to see if I can find any local orchids. I am "working" lol!

Lol, Jason! I looked everywhere downtown. Nothing. I am also having a hard time finding food other than at the hotel. It is going to be a long weekend.... lol
But hey, I did see a wonderful play at the local theatre I found while exploring downtown earlier today. The production was called "HAVING OUR SAY" (Story about the Delany sisters.) It was really well acted and directed. No orchids, but really good theatre.

I suppose you could consider yourself a type of orchid missionary BD. And maybe the converts would feed you too!
Lol, Lynda. An orchid missionary? Is that even a job? Hmm? Wonder what the pay would be like? hehehehe
Seriously, there is no place to eat downtown other than the hotel and one high-priced restrurant (with fakey looking flowers.)
On the up-side, in my hotel room there is a reprint of a Ken Lington print called "spring" Cir 1730. It is colorful. The funny thing is that on the wall with the bed, there are two more, but they are both "summer". The fourth one of the group is missing, just a nail on the wall. (So sad.)
Cheers,
