    Default Native terrestrial orchid

    Kim found this little guy right on our property line in North Port. They were at the time clearing the lot, and we were able to save it, and a couple of others. As of right now we are waiting on a positive id from the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens. It has a wonderful scent in the early morning hours. Enjoy

    This one was, but we have a whole little colony of ones that were still very small. I dug up their whole root ball trying not to disturb anything, and brought them into my greenhouse. The one in the pic got to come home with me so we could enjoy it.
