Sorry - I just couldn't do it. I can't even look at a needle any more. I have to close my eyes when ever I am going to get a shot, before they even bring out the hypo. Guess I just had too many bad experiences with needles in the past....
Ditto. And your comments, Aaron, regarding meaningless tatoos are exactly on the mark. Your feelings about tattoo as a having a personal meaning truly makes them heartfelt art and not just a pretty picture. Glad you found a gifted artist who can render your feelings into the beauty they are.
Nice Tat. If I ever lose my hair I will get one of an orchid flower on my headnot kidding . Gin
Here is a picture of Kim's new tattoo. It's a magnolia, and also bares a deep meaning to her. Four years ago when her father had passed a way, magnolias were the flowers that she left on his grave. She has been wanting to get this tattoo for some time. Also being being very wary of needles; I mean deathly afraid needles! They literally have to hold her down to draw blood! When you get a tattoo you really dont see the needles, or anything. It's just the hype that it hurts REALLY bad. When you start to collect tattoos like me it becomes very theraputic. Kind of like going to the spa believe it or not, but with something to show for it!
You dont get something shoved into you, its more like being a milli second scratch. Where are the pictures of your other pieces?
Ive been wanting to get an Aerangis piece done, hopefully my new job will afford me one!
I think it's fascinating. Is is pretty expensive?
Not too bad. Kim's was 200, and mine was 250. But well worth the money for something that I will carry for life! I'll post some pics of some of my other tatts later today
