    Default the only white vanda, V. javierae

    except for some alba forms, of course.
    Endemic to a very limited locality in northern Luzon.
    This is not exactly the usual javierae. The dorsal sepal is markdely recurved here, and there are reddish striations in the lateral lobes of the labellum.

    This vanda species has been on my wish list like forever. It is not easy to obtain this one here in the US. I heard that this is one of the few intermediate-cool growing vanda species, a plus here for growing outdoor in Southern Cal or for breeding cold tolerant vanda hybrids! Thanks for sharing the gorgeous pictures!
