You have been in my mind of late, McVeryGoodAtHijackingtheThreadBack! And I am not kidding! I rarely show what is under my hat, I prefer to surprise you. But I do believe your "REAL" birthday is in April (am I wrong?) and certainly I do have something planned for your birthday that could make you proud (besides the Blc. Mem. Gladys Young pod that is swelling fatter by everyday). Although that could depend on different perspective. Last year, when I wen to the show with Diane, we did try to look for something for you. I still remember that. But I know better what to get for you this year! And whilst you still insist today is your birthday, and since I am a good denizen of this thread as proclaimed by Lynda, our Queen of this Thread, I would join in for your Birthday Day firework (the emoticons must be good for something!!!) ...

Well, thank you, Doc Spock! Your logic is, as always, superiorly amok in a way that's a bit hard to place my finger on.

This birthday is pretty "real", or at least it was to my mother some not too many years ago but really quite a few many years ago, so I'm not sure what you're thinking of in April. Although I must say all that hinting and foreshadowing is making me quite nervous!

Hoa, I'm not fishing for a present. I was last year, LOL! And it's funny you mention the prego seed pod. Just to see someone else refer to a plant named after my grandmother - to see you use her name - is present enough. That we can recreate a lost plant that bears her name means so much to me. It affirms all those ways in which she touched my life, and brings back so many memories! If I haven't mentioned it, I dedicated my book to her. Thanks for that, as well!

Lynda - Lovely plants. I can only hope my plants are blooming like yours. I am unable to get into my green house as the key is with our house sitter who is MIA tonight. LOL. We just got home. Anyway, to keep the thread on topic - your blooms are beautiful and I am sure they bloomed to welcome you back home from your trip!

As for McBirthday: HAPPY DAY! We just spoke on PM and had I known it was your birthday, I would have wished you a wonderful day today! I hope it was grand in all respects!

Julie, if you already have a terr. then just put the little bugger in there. It will like the humidity and light of that location much better. The cup it is in was only for transport and was originally a sucker off a root of the mother plant. It had been separated for a while and I fully expect it to root for you. I was told by one person that if I cut off and dropped a leaf on the wet sphag that IT would root as well, just like african violets can do.
