    Default Phal Golden Joseph 'Patricia'

    I bought this plant last year without knowing what the blooms looked like. I have to say, I am really pleased. It is now definitely one of my favorites. 2 spikes, the larger blooms are over 5" across.


    The photo is not very good - blurry - but the colors are accurate - lime green background, pink splashes and a firery orange lip!

    That's a great looking phal, I really like it. Although to me the petals look more like a soft lemon yellow - probably the way my computer screen is set up.

    Is there a term for when the spots aren't distinctly spotty? Or is this what I have seen people refer to as splash?

    Not too many - but the spikes are still getting longer, in fact I have to set a brick on the pot to keep it from tipping over.
