Just begging to be bought at the annual flower exhibition in Kifissia, Athens. Couldn't resist yet another noid.
Even my cat was impressed!
That is such a beautiful Phal!!!!! Fantastic purchase!!![]()
I would absolutely buy that if I saw it also...I've never seen one like that before, with that gorgeous speckling!! Is 'Red Orphan' the real name? Maybe I can look for one...
Very pretty!
Like the name too. Very amusing
Had to name it something! I'm thinking that plant tags "noid#1", "#2.1" "#3.8" etc doesn't ring any bells especially after the blooming ends and you can't remember the exact color of the blooms. So I thought I'd name it Red Orphan)
Good idea - I have tried to do the same with mine, but more naming them for the occasion I bought them, or even the place! I have a very oddly named NoID 'Valentine Sandwich' - bought in a village called Sandwich in Kent when we stayed there for my husband's birthday which just happens to be Valentine's Day.
As I always have to buy dinner and treat him to all his wants as it's his birthday, I made him buy me a plant!
Great Paph with a great name![]()
I would have had to buy it too! I wiuld also like a cat like that (obviously very intelligent!) Judi
Orchids even hypnotize cats too?! Ah well, they are beautiful. I tend to stare like that at my blooms too...

When my cat stares at the screen like that she's about ready to pounce on the cursor. LOL She thinks it's a fly or something.
