I find that my psys prefer a bit more light than many sites recommend. I give them higher light than my phals, but not quite catt light. The biggest problem with them is they HATE to be disturbed. Planting in a pot with room to grow for years is the way to go. *They are slow growers, especially when young* Feeding is once a month or less. They are especially sensitive to build up of salts. More feeding in spring when root growth is initiated. they do well mounted I am told, but all mine are in a fine bark/perlite mix. The mix should just cover the roots. They like to get dry after watering, fast draining mix is important. Like phals, they hate water in their leaves (newly emerging leaves can trap water). Best to water lightly but frequently. Hope this helps.
A beautiful swarm of orchid butterflies!
Cheers. Hoa.
