    I have been waiting since Sept. 06 for this one to finally bloom. The guy's estate it came from will have no clue to its name either.

    Thanks Christian for the crosses. I searched each one and could only find images of a few. MAYBE it is one of the ones I could not find.

    Hmm... Well BD, I'm sure you'll just get more depressed having that around.. so I'd be more than happy to take that gorgeous-- err, depressing plant and give it a home We can't have you being all depressed.

    Hehe. Of course not! I'm now curious to see how many orchids I can squeeze onto my shelving unit at once. I even bought a grow light! (Are T8 bulbs that seem slightly purple ok as supplemental light for Catts?)

    But really... I'd be happy to un-depress you with that one.

    Yes, those should be okay for catts. When you replace them try to use a mix of bulbs, for example my light fixtures hold 4 bulbs each, I use 2 'growth' bulbs (2700 Kelvin) and 2 'Bloom' bulbs (6400 Kelvin).
