Heather, here are the two pics you requested. The plants arrived yesterday.

Phragmipedium hirtzii. This has a LS of about 8-10 inhces

Paphiopedilum delenatii. LS is about 4-5 inches. This one is a replacement for the mislabelled plant.

Cool! Thanks Peter. I'd not seen hirtzii foliage before I don't think. I can see the hitzii in my Mtn. Maid foliage for sure. Much more hirtzii than besseae, whereas my Barbara LeAnn, for example has very bess. like foliage.

Cute del. - you like the mottled leaves? Wonder what it will smell like!

Thanks! I like the mottled leaves, different from my larger multifloral strap leaves and they look reptilian to me. I have always wanted one, so now I have one. I still prefer the larger multiflorals, though.

Oh wow, this is your first mottled leaf paph?? I had no idea, though I guess, now that I think about it. Well, you'll soon have two when I send the second armeniacum to you.

Yep, this is my first mottled leafed Paph species. I had a hybrid and I sold it.

Oh, I forgot about the armen plant and yes that too has mottled leaves. Cool!
