Very true, though I haven't done so in quite some time. Seems I keep forgetting to sit back and take some time out until it is so close to bedtime that it simply isn't much point.

    In a similar vein...........

TPBM enjoys sitting quietly listening to the wind singing through the trees.

True. On windy days I sit on my porch and meditate and listen the leaves rustle. It's very relaxing right before you go to bed. I also like to do the scented candle thing..

TPBM loves the Spring more than any other time of the year (I DO!)

YES YES YES! Spring is the birth of such beautiful flowers. The greening and the living. Coming out of the winter doldrums. Even if Florida we have grey and brown winters. I LOVE spring.

TPBM can't wait to get dirt under his or her nails.

Dirt under my nails gardening? I wish .... but in an apartment, potted plants is as good as it gets and orchids potting medium doesn't really get my nails dirty.

TPBM remembers exactly what his/her very first orchid was and in what circumstances he/she got it ... (do you still have it?)

True, my first orchid was a Phal that was originally my moms, and when I became interested in them she gave it to me. It first flower opened on the 6th of this month, and I took some pics of it. It was in bloom when I first became intersted, so this is it's first rebloom. Last year, two spikes, this year it has three and a total of 59 buds.

LOL! FALSE! I am swamped with real life obligations and the SWROGA is coming up too fast!! I am the president of the society that is hosting the show and I am designing the layout of the exhibit space, vendor spaces, and the society exhibit as well as my own entry. I need more time....!!

    Cheers,
    BD

TPBM - is also finding that life is really hectic right now!

TRUE! two exams down, three to go... and i still need to go speak to the head of the department about a research project, find a prof to oversee said (currently theoretical) project, go ask my very pregnant favorite (and most intimidating) teacher if she'd give me a recommendation when she's on maternity leave, get a degree audit to see if i can graduate next year, and some other non-school (does that exist anymore? it's been so long...) stuff...

    TPBM likes spicy food

TRUE. Mexican, Indian, Thai, whatever! I have an addictive personality which has always manifested itself in my eating! I hope that my new addiction, orchids, will replace that.

TPBM watches NASCAR every chance he/she gets!

False. Even when I lived in 'Nascar Country' in North Carolina I just couldn't see the point in watching those guys drive around in a circle.

TPBM loves to watch movies from the '30s and 40's
