The sun lit this up so nicely that it was a pleasure enjoying my morning cup of brew with this smiling back at me...the real joy is that it flowered from a plant that has crown rot....I'm hoping it will grow a basal keiki this year.....

Magnificent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For the crown rot; dribble some hydrogen peroxide down in there and it'll kill the rot and help the plant recover possibly. In the meantime, Nice Lookin' Flowers!!

I really like the colors on this one!
It's a 50/50 call,I have several with keiki's and a couple with more than one.But usually the one you want to keep does'nt.I have 300 and I always lose some through the winter.
Very 'nice! How well does it hold it's yellow color? -- So many of the yellows fade with time.
Hey Paul, this one does pretty good. I think that is because the flowers are waxy. I got several of these from our garden center....that British garden place, if you catch my drift. Anyway, apparently, nobody else liked them and they were on their way to the dumpster so I bought all of them! Some are doing better than others...I don't know it its growing culture is just tempermental or what but they seem to be harder to care for than your average phal...is there such a thing as an average anything????!! I know you live just down the street and around the courner, so If you're ever over this way let me know.
