I'm visiting my auntie who i rarely get to see, and i noticed she has an orchid i never knew she had. looks like a catt, apparently it was a mothers day present from a decade or so ago, i would describe the size of this puppy as approximately ginormous so i asked for a part of it.
now, here's the rub, i'm about an eleven hour drive from home, howabout should i go about cutting and moving this? should i water a certain amount of time before cutting? what should i transport in, just wrap in newspaper?
also, i don't want to be greedy but i know the more pseudobulbs the better (and don't worry, this mammoth won't even notice...) is there a point where there isn't much benefit in having more?
