I have recently purchased a couple baggie babies. They both are epicattleya types; one a Rene Marquis and the second is an El Hatillo 'Pinta'. I usually have an awful time with these, could someone give me directions on how to care for these. The Pinta is a Tampenses cross and I've promised myself if I can get this one to flower I'll get my species. I've tried with these before and can't seem to get it right....i'll include pictures of the plants so you all can see their condition and how they are potted. The Rene Marquis has a violet tinge to it...is that good? It still hasn't perked up...it was pretty limp when it got here. Do they need more water? I have been watering about every 4 days, but I don't see improvement, like I said before, on the limp leaves.
Thanks ahead of time for your help....I really want to get these to do well.

First; Epicattleya El Hatillo 'Pinta'
And secondly; Epicattleya Rene Marquis (I already cut off the leaf with the black spot)
