Weird phal bud

I'm suprised I haven't seen other's post this sort of stuff. I seem to have alot of phals that, if they do rebloom, have weird things happen. I wish I knew what I was doing to make this happen....i'm guessing it's one of my overcrossed beauties. And I'm shocked the one bud is even developing with it's backdoor hanging open like that! Well, here's a phal noid that is getting ready to bloom. It's got one branch with buds that seem to be doing strange things.
