In North of Vietnam, we like the cym plants are bloom in spring.
In about 500 BC, Confucius compared the Cymbidium flower to the virtues of education:
"A solitary Orchid, stands, adorning the side of a mountain, perfumes the air even in the absence of appreciation. A true scholar, learned in morality and philosophy, is always a gentleman, even in the absence of wealth."
In Vietnam, the Traditional Cymbidium is considered "the gift of respect and friendship".
I introduce to you about some Traditional Cymbidium species of Vietnam following:
Vietnamese people often say: " King enjoy Cym, Mandarin enjoy Tea", it means, no one is allowed to enjoy cym,except the King. Now, enjoy Traditional cym has become a cultural tradition of Vietnamese peoples.
This is cymbidium siense Vietnam "Hoang Vu", "Hoang" means "Gold", "Vu" means "dance", we called that because flowers are yellow and petal are dancing!!!!!
