Ground Orchids, and they're growing!
I purchased a couple sets of bulbs from overseas awhile back. After receiving them, I did my research and potted them up. It's been tough watering empty pots, but apparently I did it right cuz they are growing! Both pots now have two growths coming up! (....doing my happy dance) I really didn't think I'd get them to grow...just imagine if they actually bloom someday.
Here's what the little things look like so far...the one with the white plant marker is the duck orchid. And as you can see from the size of everything around them, so far they are still pretty tiny.
I'll update this as they grow...or do something interesting. One is called the duck orchid (pectelis something) and the other is a habenaria mitrochondi. I can't remember and I'm too lazy to check my notes. lol
