Hi Everyone,

I have two very naughty German Short Haired Pointers that I want to give-away. They are six years old and are in good health. Brother and sister but one is white with brown spots and the other is brown with white fleckings.

Word of warning though, they do like to EAT orchids, in particular Dendrobiums. In fact I had better show you what they do to them...

This is after I have put the plants in a pot of sphag moss... and the little other chewed bits placed in the compost bin...

4 years down the drain.... imagine finding the pot and the bark and the plant all over the grass...

So, given that my partner would probably kill me if I did give the little ones away, does anybody have any suggestions on deterrents? I have to keep the Dendrobes outside because of the high light requirements... and no space indoors.

Oh and I'm sure I'm not a bad dad! The pups gets taken out for a walk twice a day, they get a ball and a rope when I leave for work and sometimes a treat bucket, ie 2l juice bottle with treats inside that they need to push around to get to the treat. And I even come home for lunch some days to also give them luncho-s.

Maybe I just shouldn't grow orchids
