Bllra. Peggy Ruth Carpenter 'Morning Joy' blooming
Picked this orchid up last night at the grocery store for $13! Multiple spikes on several new growths, and it is exploding out of it's pot. I really like the shape of the flowers, that they are a little thinner and more pointed then the Bllra. Peggy Ruth Carpenter (not 'Morning Joy') which is the pic in my avatar.
From what I could find online it is a cross of the hybrids:
Bellara Tahoma Glacier x Milt Purple Queen.
It might have a faint scent, hard to tell untill it is a bit warmer. I also wonder if the flowers will stay light colored or turn a bit more purple as they age, the way my regular Peggy Ruth Carpenter does.
