Okay, I admit that I've probably mistreated this plant, but I got it as a gift. I read somewhere that it likes lots of water so I planted it in a self-watering african violet pot. Amazingly, it's done quite well with 4-5 bloom spikes each year...but the pb's have slowly risen above the pot and I do get lots of brown spots and fried edges. (probably from salt buildup) I've decided I want to repot it...does anyone have experience with this guy and what is yours planted in? I was considering putting it in a hanging orchid pot with orchid bark...like my Oncidium Sherry Baby.
