    Default Paph. wardii

This is from a flask that was produced as a step to a more vigorous alba variety. Half the plants from the flask were alba and half were the normal variety. This is the normal variety.

The reason that flasks like this are made is to try to put some vigor into the progeny. Oftentimes, crossing two albas will produce weak offspring that don't grow well.

The albas from this type breeding are usually bred to albas from a similar type of breeding to get more vigorous alba offspring. All the offspring in the second breeding will be alba.
