Pogonia ophioglossoides; Calopogon pulchellus; Arethusa bulbosa
Nerd that I am, I love to tromp around in bogs looking for wild orchids. This day was breezy, so it was hard to get the photos in focus, but these are a few of the best. At one point, I was so focused on focusing that I actually fell through the bog mat... squish! Saved the camera, though. Photos taken in Maine, USA, in July 2009.
