Zainal, your climate should be fine for that species though... However, I believe all species(and they look so much alike) from this genus are slow growers and I did have some difficult time to get my seedling established at the begining. I grow my Eriopsis biloba I/W(slightly cooler in the winter), potted in CHC mix, bright shade(~1800-2000FC) and moist year round(maybe slighly drier in winter but nothing serious). Give it another try and good luck with it.
