Brett, I have not had a chance to do the selfing. If I have luck with the selfing in the future, I let you know. Also, if you live outside of U.S., paperworks can be a bit of problem for me though.

Valenzino, the flower of this species is variable in size. I don't think there is a successful cross with Cattleya yet although someone have tried...

FYI, this species is a lot easier to grow and bloom than the only other Neocogniauxia species(N. hexaptera). My plant is in spikes now but it may take another month or two before it blooms.
