    Default Bulbophyllum profusum, philippines

    hi folks,
    this species is endemic to the philippines and grows semi/pendulous, flowers are closing up over night.
    while taking pictures this mosquito went totally nuts over the bloom, stuck his trunk in there and hopped from bloom to bloom.
    it also shows how small the flowers are, the mossie was bigger!
