Latest catt open in my collection - I just braved the snow to fetch this in ( 4 inches last night - I know that's not much, a friend in Scotland told me he had just taken all his orchids into the house, since he had to dig through 24 inches to get to his greenhouse - but here where I live its said to be the heaviest snowfall for 70 years...).
Whatever - an interesting shape ? These "peaky" sepal tips. I checked it out on Orchidwiz and some of the five variants shown there are a bit similar, but not so extreme.
I think I like it.
Opens pale lemon, rapidly reaches the darker yellow on the left - that flower is say 3 days old, and slowly reaches the darker colour on the right - that's been open mpre than a week, maybe 10 days now.
Not over large - about 4 1/2 inch natural spread, this on a first flowering young plant.
