Jumellea sagittata
I'm not happy with this plant , and am hoping for suggestions as to how to improve it - although I should say that it was until quite recently grown on a low light bench and has ( since the flowers started) been moved to a high light position.
The problem of course is the dearth of flowers. Just two this year. Two inches across, but the plant is 29 inch from leaf-tip to leaf-tip. Two side growths now developing , which I intend to leave on and hope that several growths will get to flowering size.
The best it has ever done I think is half a dozen flowers. I raised it from a mini-flask, many years ago , and now wonder why I ever bothered !
The only other plant I have ever seen in the flesh was one a similar size at The London Orchid Show a year or two ago , and I don't think that had many more than half a dozen flowers. Maybe that's all it ever does ?
