Just another update:
i just bought this orchid...and its a phalaenopsis. it can be found in Leyte, Philippines. Calling on Ron and other experts, would you happen to know this type of phal? i got this for Php100 for 3 pcs or around $2.00 thank you so much in advance for any response.

I am loving the jungle look. I just hope that the snake will not go back since there are a number of frogs can be found here.
Just purchased this 2 ferns today :
this one has somehow a serrated edge i bought this for Php100 or around $2.00 (not the small one with the accordion type leaves)
the seller told me that this type of fern is quite hard to find; referring to the one with only 2 long leaves. I am hoping that they'll thrive.
