I know this will not impress the tropical members of the forum, but I am pretty excited living here in Arkansas and being able to grow lemons in my window.

My lemon tree produced two large lemons this year and is in bloom and has a few small green lemons on it now too. I am just about ready to pick the lemons. Last year, it made lemons as well, but I was growing it in the greenhouse and did not think it would be safe to eat the lemons since they might have systemic insecticide in them. So, this year, I moved the tree out side during the nice weather and then into my bedroom window. Anyway, here are the photos...

And, since the third photo caught a phal that I was growing in the window also, I thought I would post a photo of its blooms. I am afraid it will die soon as the leaves are really cold damaged. The phal was a gift from a graduating student in December. It got too cold, but the buds never fell off and it is currently blooming on two spikes. Noid of course...
