This dendro confused me about its identity. It has long but very thin bulb ( 25 cm in length, and approximately 1 mm in thickness). At first, I though it is Den. plastygastrium, but the color seems different. The other possibility is Den. platycaulon, but I have seen picture of this dendro posted by a member, and I am sure it is different than mine. Finally I am sure that mine is Den treubii, which belongs to the same section with Den. plastygastrium and Den platycaulon, and they have similarity in the shape of their bulbs.
This dendro is a frequent bloomer, and produces soft sweet fragance. The flowers come in a group that usually consists of six flowers per bunch. It is a native of Molucca island.
