I have been waiting to photograph this one until all the flowers were out, but since I noticed that a couple of the first to open had fallen off, and another two were going off, whilst the last bud is yet to open , I thought I should do it now. It may be the best (single spike) flower count I have yet had on an Ascda - about 23 flowers in all.
I like these bronzey-yellows, and when I took the plant out of the greenhouse, intending to take it into the house for a black background, and saw the sunlight coming through the petals, I thought it would make a nice change.
