Dendrobium cucullatum in bloom
Hello all, my Dendrobium cucullatum is finally in bloom, it is almost a month and half late than usual ! This specie has been called with many names like Den. aphyllum or Den. pierdii, but they are wrong as Den. aphyllum is a different specie, whereas pierdii is classified as cucullatum. This plant came to me with just one pseudobulb and one new growth. Now after 4 years in my greenhouse, it produced 5 new growths this year which are all flowering, an amazing display, I hope this plant becomes a specimen, in a couple of years.
