Cattleya intermedia

This year the Cattleya intermedia's are starting to bloom later than the previous years.
A lot of rain and specially the colder winter are the culprits.
The attached image shows a plant we can consider to be in color the standard for the species type form. Although when the side lobes have the same color as the lip it is an orlata variety.
