We can get an inky shroom here called Lawyers Wig, and they need to be eaten young. Apparently they need to be eaten in the same hour they are picked in! Makes it impractical for BROWN GRAVY.....yummy....

Cathy, we found some wild growing miatake again this year and we inoculated some trees out in the woods with the spore so that hopefully in the next couple of years we will have a LOAD of them. I will keep you in mind if we do.

Good growing, Jordan. You now have a green and fungus covered thumb.
Hehe thanks Jo Its good fun! I like growing them, and its sooo easy!
