I bought an Odontocidium tiger crow "golden girl" a couple years ago from one of thos plastic bag orchids in large stores. I have wanted to get this thing to bloom for ever, and now its finally got a spike! I'm really excited about it, since it hasn't seemed to grow at all, and just in the past few months it has grown several new P bulbs and seems to be doing great, and I haven't been doing anything to it. I just wanted to share this with everyone. I'll try to post pics sometime and do an update when its in bloom. In addition, I have a nice Phalenopsis hybrid (either one plant with a mature keikei growing still attatched, or two of the same plant) and it's in bloom, and I'll post pics of that somewhere also. Its got smallish, slightly pointed petals, yellow with a pinkish purple center with red veins in the petals. anyway, super stoked about the "Tiger crow" and can't wait for it to bloom, for those of you who keep this, how long does it take from first sign of the spike to bloom times on average? the spike is about 9 inches and just started a branch off today. thanks for any feedback!
