Not quite as colorful as the one shown by Jay in IOSPE, but still a nice Bulbo.
The one question I get asked about any bulbo I show, is whether it smells pretty , or pretty awful... or words to that effect. In fact out of the enormous number of bulbo' species ( over a thousand ? ) very few are pretty awful, I think. I have maybe 60 or 70 species, chosen for their flower appearance usually, and none are offensive. This one has a slight odour - I would not call it scent, but I have to put my nose very close to detect it. No, one or two of the genus give the whole lot a bad name, and if it has put you off growing them, think again. They are mostly easy growers, and quickly make specimens. Amd the flowers are different too. What more can you ask ?
