Hi guys I have a 5 year old Vanda Roberts Delight, it normally has 2-3 dark pink spikes and blooms 2x a year. Last year and this year its spike turns brown at initiation, if it makes it to maturity it gets dessicated. I have about 45 vandas and they are all doing very well. At present I have ten spiking including my sick vanda
I am not sure if its thrips since I never had this problem nor would I know what to look for in terms of "bugs" My plant is about 3 feet tall and used to be very healthy
I am attaching 3 photos, the first shows the sick spike, the second the complete plant and the third an example of the other healthy spikes of my other plants. If its diseased, as in a virus I would have to dispose of her but hopefully its either a cultural problem or something I can treat topically. Please help
