you could probably do coerulea hybrids... they can take some lows. i've been researching vandas that can handle cymbidium climate, like here in southern california, and actually finding there are several, tracking them down has not been as easy, but i've recently gotten a vanda Paki, and found a place in santa barabra whose website is very helpful about what can handle similar temps. pm me if you want a link. my lows rarely go below 40 at night in winter.
